The First Anglo-Pacific Invitational Championship is the first high class postal chess event organized by the Anglo-Pacific Tournament Bureau under the auspices of the I.C.C.F.-U.S. This book is a record of this event, with all of the high spots and the low spots exposed for your examination. The background for its organization through the offices of the International Correspondence Chess Federation ( I.C.C.F. ), the Anglo-Pacific Tournament Bureau ( A.RT.B. ), and the I.C.C.F.-U.S. Secretary Max Zavanelli, are discussed in the Introduction by Maurice H. Carter. I provide the information and discussion of what is really important: the high class postal chess games!

Let's hope that this record, as history, will act against similar recurrences...
