My grandmother passed away due to cancer shortly after I had published my first book. Even though she was a total beginner of Baduk, she was pleased to read my book from cover to cover with a big smile.
I was focusing on composing life and death (L&D) problems upon the Baduk board, while she was fighting against the fear of death, unusually dreadful thing.
The last remark my grandmother made was this: "Thank you all, I love you."
She asked us not to extend her life span with a respirator, but to let her go when God decided the right time to call her. Her request led me to meditate deeply on the true meaning of everlasting life and death.
What will be my last remark at the time of death?
I am ashamed of myself when 1 reflect on my daily life, which is full of mumbling, muttering, murmuring, etc.
Now I publish my second book, which will commemorate my two grandmothers, who had been praying for me with love.
My maternal grandmother, who also died of cancer a few years ago, was always praying at dawn, as I remember.
They will be delighted for me, even though they can't read my book in this earthly world.
In comparison with my first book, which was covering the L&D problems with the level of 1dan~7dan, I raised the overall level of the problems this time.
I followed the advice from those around me that it would be better for me to compose extremely difficult problems, because there were lots of easy problems which were spread everywhere.
I chose the problems for 5dan~professional level, so it would not be easy for foreign players to solve them very easily at this point in time. But, I am certain that many players around the world, who are fascinated by this intellectual, beautiful and inimitable game, will appear very soon and settle all kinds of problems.

Apart from the day of official matches, I devoted myself to composing L&D problems, making diagrams, and commenting on each diagram throughout this summer.
By the time you have this book, I may be also busy as a bee in the campus due to my tight schedule.
Nobody knows how much time I have, which is allowed by God, but I want to live truly and valuably, until the end of my life.
