In this detailed ”two-part“ video series I take a look at a main line White system based on 1.d4. This series is aimed at the ambitious player who is looking to put maximum pressure on their opponent from the start of the game. In this DVD I consider positions in which Black plays with an early d5. The start position for this DVD is 1.d4 d5 2.c4. This series has many chapters and is a thorough analysis, showing how to fight for the advantage from positions in which Black plays with an early d5.

This is a high-level opening choice with many fresh ideas designed to cause problems for Black players in their pet opening systems. 1.d4 d5 2.c4 has been played by practically all of the World’s leading players at some point in their chess careers. The bulk of this 39 chapter DVD considers how to tackle the Queen’s Gambit Accepted, Queen’s Gambit Declined and Slav Defence. In addition I examine the Triangle system, 2...c5, Tarrasch Defense, Henning-Shara Gambit, Baltic Defense, Chigorin and Albin Counter-Gambit.
