Kasparov, Fischer und Tal - die aggressive Najdorf-Variante der Sizilianischen Verteidigung war Hauptbestandteil des Eröffnungsrepertoires dieser drei großartigen Angriffsspieler. Ursprünglich wollte Nunn alle Varianten nach 1. e4 c5 2. Sf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Sxd4 Sf6 5. Sc3 a6 in einem Buch unterbringen, doch nachdem er die Menge an Material gesichtet hatte (allein 18.000 Partien aus Datenbanken), entschloß er sich, 6. Lg5 in einem eigenen Band zu behandeln. Das Buch ist vollgestopft mit ausgesuchten Partiebeispielen, daher sollten Sie nicht zu viele Kommentare erwarten. Dieses Buch ist ein echtes "Schwergewicht", ein Referenzwerk.
