The most important, popular and talked-about chess opening
The Najdorf Sicilian is synonymous with the all-time greats of chess - Tal, Fischer and Kasparov
One of the sharpest and most hotly-contested openings, the Najdorf has been the subject of theoretical debate for decades. It offers Black the best of both worlds - excellent winning chances without exceptional risks. The authors provide the most authoritative and up-to-date coverage of the Najdorf available
This book covers all of the most popular variations including 6.Be2, 6.Be3, 6.Bc4, 6.f4 and all other Najdorf lines apart from 6.Bg5 (which is covered in The Complete Najdorf: 6.Bg5).
Dr John Nunn is a leading grandmaster. He is the only writer to have won the British Chess Federation Book of the Year Award on two occasions. Joe Gallagher is one of the most successful grandmasters on the European tournament circuit and is the author of several best-selling Batsford chess books including The Sämisch King's Indian and (with John Nunn) Beating the Sicilian 3.

Vor einigen Jahren erschien von John Nunn "The Najdorf for the Tournament Player".
...e5, bleiben also konsequent bei Najdorf.Schach-Markt 4/99
